Hetalia the Musical! Singin' in the World

Today it was announced that ヘタリア～Singin' in the World～ (Hetalia ~Singing' in the World~) musical producting is underway in Japan! Although it is an adaptation of Axis Powers Hetalia, it is using the brand name of the sixth season of Hetalia, "Hetalia World Twinkle".
Hetalia's not a new anime, or even webcomic at all. After growing big with the beginning of the anime in 2009, Hidekaz Himaruya has for the most part, constantly churned out new material since then leading up to six volumes of manga, six seasons of an anime, and one film. The fandom is very vibrant as well, with many MADs, AMVs and CMVs, fan and company created music, and plenty of art and fanfiction.
Therefore it was perhaps a good move to create a musical production for Hetalia. Tickets are being sold for ¥7900 (or $65.89/€60.60) starting on the 8th of November, though some tickets have been sold since October 8-12th. Performances will run from December 24-29th at the Zepp Blue Theatre Roppongi in Tokyo. It is being directed by Yoshitani Kōtarō who also directed Bakumatsu Rock, Sengoku Musou, Alice in the Country of Hearts, and more.
