Hatsune Miku Tour: U.S. Dates & Events Added

The Hatsune Miku North American headlining tour has been extended and will now visit Chicago, Houston and Monterrey, Mexico. Additionally, two more concerts have been added in Mexico City after the first two shows sold out within days of its announcement. This first of its kind tour will begin in Seattle, WA on April 23rd and will visit San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto and New York. Electronic chiptunes band Anamaguchi is confirmed for the opening slot. Tour dates below. Fans across the country are eager and thrilled about this chance to see the international pop culture phenomenon "live" in concert. To further the experience, a series of fan gathering events exploring the cultural movement surrounding Miku have been added. Fans can look forward to a film festival spotlighting Miku related shorts from around the world, a Barnes & Noble drawing workshop that will culminate in a collaborative music video, and a club event series which serves as a pre-party on nights before MIKU EXPO concerts in select cities. MIKU EXPO Let's Draw! supported by Barnes and Noble

While the MIKU EXPO travels through North America, Barnes and Noble will host an in-store event called "MIKU EXPO Let's Draw!" The idea for this free Miku drawing workshop is to have fans paint various Miku artwork and collect the thousands of pieces from the entire tour to create one collaborative music video. This event will also give fans a chance to take photos in front of a special Miku banner, and enjoy a small art exhibition. There is even a free giveaway for early participants including tour stickers, pins and more!

Hatsune Miku's world is produced by an infinite number of amazing creators of music, art and movies! The MIKU EXPO will host its first short film festival with a curated collection of Hatsune Miku related movies including "Mikumentary Remix" and "#UltraMiku Special Edition!," two music videos that won the Grand-Prix at the UGC Awards of Sapporo International Short Film Festival and Market!
