Justice League vs Teen Titans Review

Today we review DC's newest animated movie Justice League vs Teen Titans. This movie picks up after JL Throne of Atlantis, Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin, and Batman: Bad Blood. Before we get into the review, here is a quick synopsis of the movie:

The Justice League battle the Legion of Doom which consists of Lex Luthor, Solomon Grundy, Cheetah, Weather Wizard, and Toymaster. After the Legion is defeated and captured, Weather Wizard runs away, but is possessed by a shadow-like creature, revealed to be the demon Trigon, whose supernatural nature allows him to physically harm Superman. Robin disobeys his father's orders to get civilians to safety, thinking he can help the Justice League fight Trigon, and ends up botching their mission by allowing Trigon to escape. In order for his son to learn teamwork, Batman sends Robin to join the Teen Titans.

REVIEW

The movie was pretty good (compared to the previous animated movies), but I felt it wasmore of Teen Titans vs Trigon then the Justice League. Granted Trigon does take over some of the League member, but mainly Superman for the majority of the movie. Damien (The New Robin) is part of the focus of the movie. Having disobeyed his father again, Batman feels if he works with a heroes more his age, he will learn team work and become a better hero.

Just about all of the voice actors have return from DC's previous animated movies with a few new added actors like Jon Bernthal (Trigon), Kari Wahlgren (starfire), Brandon Soo Hoo (BeastBoy), and Taissa Farmiga (Raven) and they did a pretty good job voicing the characters. The animation was smooth and looked good ( Not as great as Batman: Bad Blood ) and the action scenes were on point.

Justice League vs Teen Titans is a good pick up for fans of DCU animated series. Hopefully there are high DVD sales to give cause for DC to make a stand alone Teen Titans movie, which will make fans of the Teen Titans happy and bring in New ones.
