Anime NYC Walkthrough (Video)

Hey O&G fans, we got a chance to check out the inaugural Anime NYC con at the Jacob Javits Center. This Crunchyroll sponsored event was created by LeftField Media, an event company made of dedicated fans and convention organizers. This con is a return to anime that fans have been waiting for since New York Anime Festival, which was a standalone con, but later folded into New York Comic Con and then later fazed out altogether.

For those who attended the con, you got this pass, crunchyroll lanyard and a commemorative anime nyc pin.

Great Cosplay was on display at this years con.

Many toys, gadgets, mystery boxes and figurine companies were in attendance this year, showing off some great buys for fans. Smart Doll by Danny Choo is one example of some amazing and well designed dolls.

For its first year Anime NYC was a great experience for anime fans. A showcase of the best of Japanese pop culture. Although this event wasn't as big as New York Comic Con, what it lacked in size it made up in its fan experience. I myself can't wait to see what what they have planned for next year.
