Jabra showed us two of their newest sports buds and headphones, including:

Elite Active 45e

  • For runners and while working out

  • IP 67 (certified against sweat, water and dust)

  • Earhooks keep them secure

  • Connects via bluetooth

  • 15 min fast charge feature

  • Voice Assist works with Alexa, Siri and Google

  • Battery life: 9 hours

Elite Active 85h (ANC)

  • Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

  • Soft & comfortable earcups

  • Controls on the earcup

  • Music off by simply turning the earcups or taking them off

  • IP 52 (certified against sweat, water and dust)

  • Jabra Smart Sound (improves ANC tech using AI)

  • Battery life: 36 hours (with ANC on)

The Jabra Sound Plus App lets you quickly switch between settings for when you're in a:

  • public area

  • a quieter private space

  • or commuting

One of my favorite functions is "hear-through" (for the 85h, I believe), which allows you to hear sound from your immediate surroundings - great for when you need to hear train announcements or order some fast food without having to take your headphones off.

Another great feature is the collection of soundscapes emulating waterfalls, rain and other sounds from nature - or pink noise to help you fall asleep. In some cases, it'll help you block out the noisy guy shouting at the top of his lungs for no reason, in an otherwise peaceful park.
