News: Kotobukiya's Batman Bronze Age Statue Available May 2023

Kotobukiya, the Japanese maker of high-end statues is releasing Batman from the Bronze age (1970's to 1980's). It's a period where DC stories shed light on social issues of the time, along with the darker aspects that normally weren't touched upon.

The pose is of Batman pulling on his blue & gray costume, preparing himself in the Batcave before heading out to the mission at hand.

The statue is sculpted in 1/6 scale (around 305 mm tall), making it a part of Kotobukiya's ArtFX category. The base features a metal plate decorated with Batman's chest logo that the statue attaches to with embedded magnets.

Other statues that match well with Bronze Batman are (see picture):

  • Batman: The Killing Joke Joker "One Bad Day" (ArtFX)

  • Batman: Thomas Wayne (ArtFX)

  • Batman: Last Knight on Earth (ArtFX)

  • Batman: Who Laughs Last (ArtFX)
