Retro Animated X-Men series Debuts Today

Hey O&G Fans, Today the first retro animated X-men series by animator Joel Furtado premiered  the first episode, featuring Wolverine and Jean Grey vs a Sentinel. The series is inspired by the 90's X-men comic book and cartoon. Here is a look at the episode:

Canadian animator Joel Furtado has created an animated short that combines the '90's X-Men aesthetic with the style of a retro video game. The short, which is just the latest example of nostalgia for the '90's X-Men cartoon, can be seen here.

The short is an introduction to Furtado's planned fan series X-Men: The Danger Room Protocols which will pit various X-Men against some of the team's biggest vilains in scenarios created by Professor X's notorious training simulator the Danger Room. The planned 18-episode series will debut on YouTube on January 19.

Late night talk show host Arsenio Hall was the voice of Winston from the Real GhostBusters cartoon.


Another favorite character from the cartoon (Peter Venkman) was voiced by Full House star Dave Coulier.


How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris played Dougie Howser MD and Himself in the Harold and Kumar movies, but he was also the voice of Spiderman in MTV 2003 cartoon.


The Iconic voice of the Joker and Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill is also the voice of Skips from Regular Show.


Keith David has played many cartoon voices Like HBO's Spawn, But before that, he played the voice of Goliath from the cartoon Gargoyles.


Leonard Nimoy who played Mr Spock on The Original Star Trek also voice Galvatron from the 80's Transformer Cartoon.


Clancy Brown who stared in this years series Sleepy Hollow, also voiced Lex Luthor from Superman TAS.
