Hey O&G fans, Marvel has given us a little clue about what the 2015 Civil War/ Secret Wars tie-in is about. Battle world has been re-visiting some of Marvels great story arcs, and this time from creators Charles Soule (Death of Wolverine, Inhuman) and Leinil Yu (Avengers). Heroes fighting one another in a nation divided, the conflict has been going on for six years now. Captain’s forces square off against Iron Man’s, under the command of General Steve Rogers and President Tony Stark.

Peace is far from attainable, and each side will do whatever it takes to end the war. The Top-Secret project Bellcurve is said to have the ability to end the war in one swift stroke, there is talk of damning information that could topple the President Stark administration from within, and what will our heroes’ enemies do to exploit the Superhuman Civil War to their advantage.

Marvel history is reshaped on Battleworld in Civil War #1.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (and the kitchen sink) Will be in Capt. America: Civil War

Hey O&G fans, it seems Marvel is gearing up to throw every MCU character at you in Capt. America: Civil War. This might be the most comic book character loaded movie to date. Civil War will have atleast up to 16 Marvel character, its almost the whole cinematic universe ( But if they are following the comic book story, Thor and the Hulk won't be in it). Here is the film synopsis:

“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

It will be great if the movie has characters from all past, present, Future and films. After his debut in Marvel’s “Ant-Man” on July 17, 2015, Paul Rudd will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers as Scott Lang/Ant-Man. Other characters to appear, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes / War Machine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Jarvis / Vision, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt as General Thaddeus Ross, Martin Freeman as (Unknown Character).

We will see if the movie follows the comic book story arch, if so we might see other Marvel characters appear like the Punisher, Spiderman, Luke cage, and Daredevil. It is also possible some Villains and minor heroes could make cameo's to make the movie more bad ass than it's already shaping up to be.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” is produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Marvel Studios has commenced principal photography at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on “Captain America: Civil War,” the third installment of its Super Hero franchise. The production will shoot on location in Atlanta, Georgia, which serves as the base for the film’s production, as well as locations in Germany, Puerto Rico and Iceland.

Captain America: Civil War is set to premiere May 6th 2016.
