Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery Review

What happens when you combine one of the most iconic cartoon characters, with the most iconic wrestling company of all time? Believe it or not you get one of the most entertaining Scooby Doo mystery in years. Fans of the classic Scooby Doo mysteries will be happy with the new installment. When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WWE's WrestleMania, the entire gang travel to WWE City. However, when a monster appears and threatens to ruin the event, Scooby and the gang enlist the help of the WWE superstars, including John Cena, Brodus Clay, AJ Lee, Triple H, The Miz, Kane, Santino Marella, Sin Cara and Mr. McMahon, to help them solve the mystery.

What makes this Scooby Doo entry a good one is the old school feel you get. Remember those Scooby Doo movies with Batman and Robin, Don Knotts and many more? This movie carries that same feel with the WWE Superstars. The film doesn't overdo it with guest appearances. Instead it has a nice balance of the Scooby and the gang and the WWE Superstars. The story is what you expect from a Scooby Doo movie. It follows the same formula of a spooky ghost terrorizing a town only this town is WWE City. WWE City is a city full of WWE Superstars, stores and many more. Think of it of a place where every fan of the WWE Universe would want to live. While the story is your Scooby Doo blueprint, it does pack tons of action, silly gags that the whole family will enjoy. Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery is worth checking out.

Yu-Gi-Oh: The Official First Season DVD Review

On September 10th 2013 Yu-Gi-Oh fans will have the opportunity to own the very first season of Yu-Gi-Oh on DVD. The DVD comes in two volumes. Volume 1 which contains three disc includes episodes one to twenty four and includes the epic battle between Yugi and Kaiba. Volume 2 which also contains three disc includes episodes twenty five to forty nine and concludes with the battle between Yugi and Pegasus. If you wanted to collect the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise at a decent price this will be the DVD to buy.

All forty nine episodes are included untouched just how you remember it on television. Unfortunately fans looking for the original Japanese version of the show will be disappointed. This DVD contains the 4K edited version just how you remembered it on the CW. The DVD doesn't contain any special features or behind the scenes look at the show. It's just the forty nine episodes in English dub nothing more and nothing less. Personally I would love to see some special features like interviews with the English voice cast, the impact Yu-Gi-Oh had in the west and a little better presentation on the menu. However the DVD exceeds on giving you what you want which is Yu-Gi-Oh Season 1 in its entire length. The animation holds up well and you don't really see the age of the show which is great. Overall if you love Yu-Gi-Oh and want the collection at a fair price this is the DVD collection for you.
